Counsel

Nikoletta is Counsel in the Corporate & Commercial group.

She specialises in corporate and commercial law, having advised clients on complex business matters, with particular focus on M&As, as well as on corporate matters (including incorporation of companies and corporate resolutions), while she has also been involved in privatisations.

She also has significant experience in high value commercial litigation (both under English and Greek law) and international arbitration, having advised clients on disputes in a wide range of sectors, including contractual, financial services, joint venture and shareholders’ disputes, energy, and telecoms.

Nikoletta joined the firm in October 2020. She previously had worked at top tier law firms in London.

Indicative experience

  • Advising a real estate development company (member of a major Greek construction group) on the sale of a property, through transfer of shares in an SPV, to a listed real estate investment company.
  • Advising a major Greek construction group on the spin-off of its renewable energy sector, by way of incorporation of a new company.
  • Advising a systemic Greek bank on the sale of a c. €500million portfolio, comprising of performing and non-performing corporate loans.
  • Advising the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund on the privatisation of a major Greek port.
  • Advising a real estate development company (member of a major Greek construction group) on the acquisition of a property, through the purchase of shares in an SPV, from the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund.
